We will do the Design & Built of the fire protection for the Leonardstunnel in Brussel, Belgium.
Our client is JanDeNul for the next 1,5 years. We started last week with the first to in-situ fire test to determine the spalling temperature of the concrete at wall and ceiling. The test itself was performed by Efectis Netherlands and worked well. No spalling until 380°C heated up within 66 minutes.
Now we will start the detailed design for the tunnel ceiling and wall fire protection. The wall will get a combined fire protection and architectural lining.
